DEAR VISITOR: HAS IT REALLY BEEN FIVE, TEN, OR FIFTEEN YEARS?
Actually, it's been 20. - Hey guys, remember when I invented Facebook before Facebook was a thing? I was the original Winklevossesses! It coulda been me who ruined us! At least we'd have one of them underground bunkers everyone's crowing on about. Not because the world's coming to an end or anything, (click here to see how you too can survive the apocalypse!) but so we could play video games.
With blackjack. And hookers!
So 20 years, huh? We've been through a lot, us and MattDilbeck.com. There was the site's official launch in 2005; Our explosive experimentation with a "Gossip" section (you guys remember that?! Classic.) The site being purchased by an unknown investor who had it serve as a landing page for wishing me a "happy birthday," only to later turn it into a redirect for a (very niche) porn site (yes, that actually happened.) ​But, here we are, safe and sound and back in the hands of our original creator, our namesake... it's me – Matt Dilbeck!
SO NOW WHAT?
Well I'll tell ya, ya dingus. - First off, if you're visiting the site from your phone, hang up, and throw it out the window. While I have worked hard to make the site as accessible as possible from your phone, it's still best experienced on the ol' desktop (there's content that's only going to show up on a big screen, so if you can,
check the site out on your computer or tablet.)
Things you'll want to do first: check in, update your Top 5!, join the mailing list, and sign the guestbook (you can also view old, old entries if you'd like.) Then, take a look around. There's plenty to see, and plenty more to come (old and new.) If you join the mailing list, I'll let you know when updates are made. If you see something that's outta whack (or something you want me to take down,) shoot me a message. Have fun while you're here, come back often, and, most importantly, don't forget to tell me how great I am for doing this.
